In both of our settings, we create a strong sense of belonging and foster an ethos of togetherness – a place where each individual child makes a contribution and feels valued. We provide the opportunities for each child to grow into a happy, confident and creative individual. All our nursery environments are rich in possibilities so that children can explore, be curious and creative with others.
Loris Malaguzzi, Reggio Emilia founder
” I was born and raised in Australia; however, I have made Finland my home. I hold more than 16 years of experience and two qualifications in Community and Children’s Services and in Developing Professional Practice in the Early Years. I had the opportunity to attend an international study group in Reggio Emilia (Italy), where I have learned and developed my practice on how to apply the Reggio Emilia Approach to my practice as well as our staff.
I love being immersed in nursery life, working collaboratively with staff and children, and bridging the gap between theory and practice in early years education. I believe in a culture of learning where play, questioning, open dialogue, imagination and creativity are pivotal to the continued quest for knowledge and development. “
